Gorge-Tillicum Canada Day Picnic

I finally made it the Gorge-Tillicum Canada Day Picnic - pretty lame to have missed for the last seven years. This year Sheila and Stephen decided to have a table to sell stuff.

Sheila had a good looking stall and a good product but sales were poor - not enough people interested in shopping for stuff at Canada Day.

Meanwhile Stephen sold all his jam and made a net profit of $266.   He sold out by 1:30 in the afternoon.

One aspect I liked was the parade, it was nothing fancy, just the people in the neighbourhood.  The whole event is really a very large neighbourhood block party.

Yes, this is the Queen and she slipped into town just because Rob Wickson asked her.
